                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF SOCIAL CIRCLE, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SUNDAY,
                   MAY 23, 1993, FROM 4:30 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M.
                   FOR AN "OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE" UNDER THE
                   SPONSORSHIP OF THE ST. LUKE UNITED METHODIST
                   CHURCH.
                  
                   
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Social Circle between Ozark Road and Paul
       Kern Lane on Sunday, May 23, 1993, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
for
       an "Outdoor Concert" sponsored by the St. Luke United Methodist
       Church provided that the sponsors shall set out and pick up all
       road closed and detour signs in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for emergency and residential vehicles.
